About Care & Tax Services

Care & Tax Services was established in 2024 by two brothers with a shared commitment to making essential services simple, honest, and accessible. With backgrounds in healthcare and public service, they saw how many families struggled to find reliable help with everyday needs like taxes, health coverage, and financial paperwork—and decided to change that.

What began as a small neighborhood office has grown into a trusted community resource, offering expert support in tax preparation, ACA enrollment, Medicaid assistance, and more. At Care & Tax, we focus on professionalism, integrity, and personalized service—helping every client make confident financial decisions with clarity and peace of mind.

As part of that mission, Care & Tax Services founded DeKalb Public Services — a nonprofit that provides free Medicaid, SNAP, and general assistance to families in need — as well as LearnU, our budgeting and savings class that teaches practical skills to help residents build long-term financial stability and confidence.
